Houston Section BBQ 2024
Each year, the Houston Section of the Marine Technology Society, the Society's largest Section, hosts its Annual Barbecue Social and Fundraiser. This annual event is a much anticipated tradition along the Gulf Coast, attracting some 600+ offshore industry professionals and their guests.
In addition to an evening of socializing, food and refreshments, the Barbecue offers excellent networking and exhibit opportunities, and a silent auction with donated items and autographed sports memorabilia. This is the Section’s leading fundraiser of the year and money raised supports the Section’s vibrant scholarship program.
Sporting Clays Tournament 2025

During the past 25 years, this tournament has grown into one of the largest clay shooting tournaments in the Greater Houston area and has proven year after year to be an extremely popular event throughout the oil and gas industry with great sponsorship opportunities, prizes and networking.
